The quickest way: VLC
VLC is free, available for Windows and Mac at videolan.org, and needs no account.
- Install and open VLC.
- Media → Open Network Stream (Windows) or File → Open Network (Mac).
- Paste your playlist link: your playlist link
- Press Play.
VLC opens the playlist as a list of tracks. Press Ctrl + L (Windows) or ⌘ + Alt + P (Mac) to show the channel list beside the video.
VLC has no TV guide and no film library. It is perfect for checking that a subscription works, and tiring to use every evening.
The comfortable way: a real IPTV app
- Windows: install IPTV Smarters Pro for Windows from
iptvsmarters.com, or MyIPTV Player from the Microsoft Store. - Mac: IPTV Smarters is available for macOS from the same site; IINA also opens the M3U link above.
In any of them, choose the Xtream Codes login and enter:
- Server URL: your server address
- Username: your username
- Password: your password
Watching in the browser
You do not need to install anything to *test* the service: open your subscription page in your account and use the built-in player. It is a check, not a viewing experience — a real app will always be smoother.
It still does not work
- "Wrong username or password" — the details are case-sensitive and there is no space at the end. Use the copy button above instead of typing them. Full checklist
- "Maximum connections reached" — someone else is watching. How to fix it
- The picture freezes — start here
- Channels are missing — start here
If none of that helps, run the troubleshooter in your account. It checks your actual subscription first, which is faster than describing the problem to us.
