A Samsung TV cannot install Android apps, so IPTV Smarters and TiviMate are not available. Instead you use one of the Samsung apps below. They are made by other companies and each asks for a small one-off activation fee for the lifetime of the TV — that is their fee, not ours, and we can pay it for you if you would rather not deal with it.
1. Install one of these apps
Press Home on the remote → Apps → the magnifying glass → search for one of:
- IBO Player or IBO Pro Player — the one we recommend first
- Net IPTV
- Flix IPTV
- Smart STB (this one emulates a MAG box — see the MAG guide instead)
- Duplex Play
Install it and open it.
2. Write down the two numbers it shows you
When the app opens for the first time it shows a MAC address (like 00:1A:79:xx:xx:xx) and a Device key or Device ID. Take a photo of that screen. You will need both, and finding them again means resetting the app.
3. Send us the playlist — or add it yourself
These apps do not let you type a playlist on the TV. You add it on the app maker's website, and the TV picks it up.
- On your phone or computer, go to the website the app shows on screen (for IBO Player it is
iboplayer.com; each app names its own). - Enter the MAC address and Device key from step 2.
- Add a playlist:
- Playlist name:
Canalus - Playlist URL: your playlist link
- EPG URL (if asked): your TV guide link
- Save, pay the activation fee if the site asks for it, then restart the app on the TV.
4. If the channel list is empty after restarting
- Turn the TV off at the wall for 30 seconds, not just with the remote. Samsung TVs keep apps in memory and a normal power-off does not clear it.
- Check on the website that the playlist you saved is set as active.
- Make sure you registered the MAC address the app shows — not the TV's network MAC address from the TV settings menu. They are different, and this is the single most common mistake.
It still does not work
- "Wrong username or password" — the details are case-sensitive and there is no space at the end. Use the copy button above instead of typing them. Full checklist
- "Maximum connections reached" — someone else is watching. How to fix it
- The picture freezes — start here
- Channels are missing — start here
If none of that helps, run the troubleshooter in your account. It checks your actual subscription first, which is faster than describing the problem to us.
