"Maximum connections reached"
Updated 15 agosto 2026
This article is not translated into your language yet, so it is shown in English.
Your package allows {{maxConnections}} device(s) to watch at the same time. This message means that number is already in use.
What counts as "in use"
- Another TV, phone or box in the house that is playing a channel.
- An app left open on a paused channel. Pausing does not release the connection.
- A device that crashed or lost power without closing the app — the connection stays registered for a few minutes afterwards.
- Someone you gave your details to. This is the most common cause by a distance.
Fix it in two minutes
- On every other device, close the app completely — not just back to the home screen. On a Firestick, hold the Home button → Apps → force-close.
- Wait 60 seconds. Abandoned connections time out on their own.
- Try again.
If you are the only person in the house and it still says this, a previous session has not timed out yet. Wait five minutes and it will clear.
If it happens constantly
- You need more connections. Upgrading takes a minute and does not change your username, your password or anything you have set up — you keep watching on the same devices, just more of them at once. Ask us for the price of your plan with more connections.
- Your details have been shared. If you sent them to someone and no longer want them using it, reset your credentials from your subscription page. You will have to re-enter the new details on your own devices afterwards, and everyone else stops immediately.
